Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, University President; Professor Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Abu El-Hassan, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Community Development; and with the support of Professor Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education; Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Sadek, Head of the Department of Architectural Construction Technology; Dr. Ahmed Khamis, Lecturer in the Department of Architectural Construction Technology; and Dr. Reham Fathy, Lecturer in the Department of Architectural Construction Technology. In line with the state's direction towards supporting the concepts of sustainable development and enhancing the integration between academic and practical application, and as part of the implementation of the strategic plan for developing higher education, and in light of universities' interest in improving the educational process and the quality of their outputs, the Faculty of Technology and Education is keen to present distinguished educational models and student projects that contribute to developing students' skills and preparing them efficiently for the job market. From this perspective, fourth-year students in the Department of Architectural Construction Technology at the Faculty of Technology and Education, Beni Suef University, implemented a graduation project entitled "Rehabilitation and Development of the Administrative Entrance Hall at the Faculty." The students began by submitting a range of design concepts and proposals for beautifying and developing the lobby, based on scientific and architectural principles aimed at providing a comfortable and attractive environment for visitors. This was informed by the knowledge they had acquired during their coursework. After reviewing the various proposals, the best designs submitted by the students were selected for implementation. The development work included re-establishing the electrical system to meet the lobby's usage needs, as well as repainting the walls and seating in carefully chosen colors that enhance the aesthetic appeal and provide a sense of comfort for those present. The renovation also included incorporating architectural touches to improve the lighting system, in addition to repairing the windows to ensure good ventilation and maximize natural light. Furthermore, a visual harmony was achieved between the colors of the walls, floors, and seating, creating a comfortable and cohesive environment for visitors. At the conclusion of this work, Professor Dr. Dean of the College, the Vice Deans, and the Heads of the Scientific Departments expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the fourth-year students of the Department of Architectural Construction Technology, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and the work they presented that reflects the spirit of creativity and responsibility, which resulted in the rehabilitation of the administrative lobby to appear at this distinctive aesthetic level.
