Student visit to the Cairo International Book Fair 2026

Within the framework of integrated institutional support for purposeful student activities, and in affirmation of the role of culture in building intellectual awareness among university students, a student visit to the Cairo International Book Fair 2026 was organized.

This visit was held under the generous patronage of:
Professor Dr. Tarek Ali – President of Beni Suef University
Professor Dr. Hamada Mohamed – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs
Professor Dr. Abu El-Hassan – Vice President of the University for Environmental Affairs and Community Development
And with the support of Professor Dr. Mervat Refaat – Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education
And under the supervision of:
Professor Dr. Essam Hamad – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs
Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development
Dr. Mustafa Wagih – Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty
And was organized by:
Mr. Ali Ibrahim – Director of Student Welfare at the Faculty
This visit is part of the strategic plan of the Faculty of Technology and Education, which aims to develop cultural and intellectual awareness among students and to enhance the role of cultural activities as a supporting pillar of the educational process. The visit witnessed broad participation from college students in an atmosphere characterized by positive interaction and keen interest in exploring the latest scientific, literary, and cultural publications.

The visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with a wide range of books, scientific references, and reliable sources of knowledge, contributing to the consolidation of a reading culture, the development of scientific research and critical thinking skills, and fostering openness to diverse intellectual and cognitive currents.

Professor Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the College, emphasized that such cultural visits are a fundamental pillar in building a well-rounded university student personality and effectively contribute to preparing a cultured and aware generation capable of keeping pace with rapid advancements in knowledge and actively participating in serving and developing society.
