The Faculty of Technology and Education organized an introductory seminar on Microsoft Teams to support digital transformation and enhance the educational process.

Under the auspices of His Excellency Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, Professor Dr. Abulhassan Abdelmawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and with the support of Professor Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, and Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The Faculty's Information Technology Unit organized the seminar today, which was attended by a number of faculty members and teaching assistants. Dr. Abdelgawad Abdelrabbo and Engineer Mohamed Farid presented a detailed overview of Microsoft Teams, covering the platform and its applications in supporting the educational process and academic communication between faculty members and students. The presentation included a practical demonstration of how to create teams and channels within the program, and how to organize and divide courses to facilitate more effective content management. It also covered adding members, assigning permissions, sharing files and learning materials, creating and scheduling virtual meetings, and managing conversations and discussions within channels to enhance communication and ongoing interaction. The seminar also showcased several practical tools available through the program, including uploading lectures and assignments, monitoring announcements, and organizing files for easy access and use at any time. The seminar saw active participation from attendees who asked questions and discussed practical aspects of using the program, contributing to improved utilization of digital platforms within the college. This seminar is part of the Information Technology Unit's efforts to support digital transformation and develop the skills of faculty and teaching assistants in using modern technologies to enhance the educational process.
