The Faculty of Technology and Education hosted a distinguished scientific event on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, to enhance joint academic cooperation with the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences. The event, titled "Academic Cooperation Towards Sustainable Technological Innovation to Serve People with Special Needs," reflects the two faculties' vision of integrating scientific and applied efforts to serve the community.
The Faculty of Technology and Education welcomed a student delegation from the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences to discuss the prospects of employing technology and innovation to serve people with disabilities, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event began with a scientific seminar presented by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Bar, who addressed key modern technological ideas and their role in achieving sustainability, focusing on how to utilize innovation to serve people with disabilities. He also emphasized the importance of linking graduation projects to community needs and directing them towards providing applied technological solutions that contribute to improving quality of life.
Following the seminar, the student delegation toured the laboratories of the Faculty of Technology and Education, where they viewed a number of innovative projects implemented by the faculty's students. These projects reflect the practical application of technological ideas in real-world settings. The tour was supervised by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Bar, who provided a comprehensive explanation of these projects and their implementation mechanisms.
The visit aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences between students of the two faculties and to explore ways to utilize technology in designing innovative solutions that serve people with disabilities, thus supporting the state's drive towards sustainable development. At the conclusion of the event, the importance of continued academic cooperation between the two colleges was emphasized, in order to support innovation, integrate disciplines, and prepare qualified personnel capable of employing technology to serve society and achieve a more sustainable future.
