The Faculty of Technology and Education welcomed the Environmental Measurements Committee to conduct environmental assessments at the faculty.
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, University President; Prof. Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and with the support of Prof. Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Technology and Education received the Environmental Measurements Committee on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The committee conducted a series of measurements across its various facilities, reflecting Beni Suef University's commitment to environmental standards and providing a safe and healthy learning environment in its faculties.
The committee carried out the necessary environmental measurements in the workshops, laboratories, and classrooms to ensure compliance with standard environmental requirements that guarantee the safety of students and faculty members. These measurements included assessing noise levels, lighting intensity, temperature, and humidity, in addition to measuring the carbon footprint within the educational work environment.
These efforts are part of the university's ongoing commitment to improving the quality of the internal environment, supporting the educational process and enhancing performance efficiency within the workshops and laboratories of the College of Technology and Education, while aligning with the state's direction towards achieving environmental sustainability.
The measurements were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Abdelbar, Coordinator of Technological Programs at the College; Mr. Yasser El-Hanafy, Director of the College; and Ms. Zeinab Ragab, Vice Director of the College, who emphasized the importance of regularly monitoring environmental standards and continuously developing them.
