Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the winning of four graduation projects by students of the Faculty of Technology and Education within the “My Project, My Beginning” initiative, funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. These projects were among the teams participating in the 2026 Technology Makers Challenge. The projects were supervised by Dr. Mervat Refaat, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mustafa Wagih Lotfy, Dr. Ramadan Mahmoud Mustafa, and Dr. Mohamed Ali Ghaleb, Head of the Process Control Technology Department.
Dr. Tarek Ali expressed his delight at this achievement, noting that the university places great importance on supporting innovation and entrepreneurship and encouraging students to transform their creative ideas into viable, applied projects. This contributes to preparing qualified professionals capable of competing in the job market and actively participating in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. He emphasized that the success of these projects reflects the outstanding level of the university's students and their ability to utilize scientific knowledge to provide innovative technological solutions that meet the needs of society and keep pace with global developments in the fields of energy and smart transportation.
Dr. Tarek also extended his sincere congratulations to the winning students, teams, and supervising faculty members, wishing them continued success and further scientific and innovative achievements that will elevate the university's standing in various scientific and technological forums.
Dr. Mervat Refaat added that the winning projects were selected from among a large number of submissions due to their innovative ideas and future-oriented visions in the fields of electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, smart energy management, and sustainable charging technology. This supports the country's drive towards green transformation and the promotion of clean energy sources.
