As part of the annual student activities plan of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and in cooperation with the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector,

The Faculty of Technology and Education at Beni Suef University organized a distinguished awareness seminar on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, entitled:

"The Light of Faith in the Face of the Darkness of Drugs and Addiction."

The seminar was delivered by Sheikh Omar Noah Abdelkader, Imam, preacher, and teacher at the Beni Suef Directorate of Religious Endowments.

He addressed, in an impactful manner, the role of faith and spirituality in protecting youth from the scourge of drugs, explaining the impact of religious and moral values ??in safeguarding the individual and society from the dangers of addiction. He emphasized the importance of religious and national awareness in building a conscious and enlightened generation capable of facing challenges.

The seminar was attended by a select group of faculty members and teaching assistants, the Dean and Deputy Dean of the Faculty, as well as significant participation from students who engaged in constructive discussions and questions, reflecting their deep understanding of the importance of the topic and their role in spreading awareness and confronting negative behaviors within and beyond the university community. ?
